Andy Borowitz

Andy Borowitz is a New York Times best-selling author and comedian. He is most well-known for his satirical news column, the Borowitz Report. His style of writing is humorous, but always hits the mark critically. In the column, the main topics are often political figures and world events. At the time, he was heavily covering the nominees for the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. For his upcoming speaking event at KU, I wanted to depict not only his profession, but also his writing topics and style. I chose to create vector graphics to put his persona and abilities into perspective. A poster format and smaller ad (i.e. newspaper / social media) format were used to promote the upcoming event.
